Mechanics
To qualify as a finalist a chapter should:
- Be in active .
- Have an election every year in the last three years
- Have submitted at least 4 reports to the National Office per year.
- Have conducted at least 6 CPD activities (solo for 3 years
- Have at least 6 Board meetings in a year
- Have at least 50% of its members in active status (CPD and payment of dues).
-The committee shall evaluate the reports/documentation on submitted by the finalists.
-The Awards Committee shall present the awardees
Criteria
Outstanding Chapter of the Year
- Membership status – % of Members in active status, have been promoted and/or reactivation status
- Should have conducted an election
- Was in attendance in National activities
- Should have an organizational structure and has committees
Most Active Chapter in CPD
- Degree and extent of involvement in the actual delivery of CME activities
- Nature and scope of learning/ CPD programs
- Research activities
- Attendance of members in various national and other learning activities
- Percent of members participating in chapters’ CPD activities
Most Active Chapter in Community Service
- Activities undertaken by the chapters
- Nature of community service projects
- Degree or extent of community involvement
Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Award for Chapter Excellence
The Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Award for Chapter Excellence is the highest recognition and distinction given by the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ to companies that have made significant contributions to the goals of the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ through demonstrated leadership, recruitment of members, committee work, community involvement, and other endeavors.
The award is an acknowledgement of the high level of accomplishment, effectiveness and performance of activities as a chapter of the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ that are aligned and in conformity with the vision and mission of the organization.
GUIDELINES FOR THE Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Award for Chapter ExcellenceÌýÌý
- Eligible for the award are chapters that have: a) Garnered the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Most Outstanding Chapter Award for 5 consecutive years, or; b) Chapters that have received the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Most Outstanding Chapter award for a total of 10 times irrespective of sequence;
- The Committee on Awards shall evaluate qualified chapters.
- The chapter must be in active status for the last 3 years at the time of evaluation.
- The Committee on Awards shall recommend to the Board the recipient of the award.
- The award shall be given during the opening ceremonies in the Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Anniversary & Annual Convention.
- The eligibility to the Most Outstanding Award shall be 3 years after the recognition.
