The Â鶹ֱ²¥ Research Committee successfully conducted the 2022 Resident\u2019s Research Forum last June 4, 2022 during the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Annual Convention. There were 23 poster presentations and 6 oral presentations covering a variety of topics in family and community practice. Aside from the current topics related to COVID-19, there were very good studies covering patient-centered, family-focused and community-oriented issues. Another interesting set of studies were on the use of telemedicine and information technology in health care. This will be considered as the theme for the July-December 2022 issue of the Filipino Family Physician Journal. The expert panel of judges that included Dr. Shiela Marie S. Lavina, Dr. Endrik H. Sy, Dr. Geannagail O. Anuran, Dr. Daisy Medina, Dr. Ma Teresa Tricia G. Bautista and Dr Joan Mae M. Oliveros reviewed the papers and evaluated the presentations.<\/p>\n

For this year\u2019s research forum, the best oral presenters were:<\/p>\n

  1. Dr. Michael Angelo Y. Arteza and Dr. Kysten Marie R. Yayen from Healthway Family and Community Medicine Residency Training Program<\/li>\n
  2. Dr. Rose Angela R. Mahipus and Dr. Adlyn Bea A. Bernaldez from Brokenshire Integrated Health Ministries, Inc.<\/li>\n
  3. Dr. Michael Angelo G. Biscocho from Batangas Medical Center<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    While the best poster presenters were:<\/p>\n

    1. Dr. April Lim Q. Alimbuyuguen and Dr. Abegail A. Masangkay from East Avenue Medical Center<\/li>\n
    2. Dr. Arianne Ashley M. Magtibay from San Lazaro Hospital<\/li>\n
